Serena

Serena is one of Access Now's Grant Writers. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master's degree in International Cooperation for Development. Before joining Access Now, she has worked as a grant writer and project manager for NGOs and grassroots organisations in Latin America and Europe, focusing on improving access to work and education for vulnerable target groups - including refugees, indigenous women, and youth with disabilities. A self-proclaimed foodie, Serena could talk for hours on end about intersectional feminism, brutalist architecture, and the importance of the Oxford comma.
