Reine Zahreddine

Grants Program Officer

Reine is the Grants Program Officer at Access Now. She has a master’s degree in Socio-economic development and is a certified professional mediator. Before joining Access Now, Reine acted as a Project manager at Internews, closely working with various emerging grassroots alternative media outlets across Lebanon. Throughout her journey in the development sector, Reine mainly worked with human rights defenders, women rights defenders, media development actors, youth, and marginalized communities and groups in the MENA Region. In addition to this, Reine is also a seasoned researcher, impact evaluator, and trainer. She is passionate about games and always has one under her sleeve. She believes that through the joy they foster and the smiles they create, games could be used as a bonding, engaging, learning, expressing, and healing medium. Reine is driven by curiosity in her search to unravel what it is to be human and how the world works.
