Loren Giordano

Design and Multimedia Lead

Loren Giordano is a graphic and motion designer from Guatemala, focused as well in illustration and storytelling. She sees graphic design as a tool for change and this is why she decided to orient her design work into projects of human rights, politics, justice, gender and equality. She was a Dow Jones & ICFJ Fellow in WNYC (New York’s Public Radio) in 2017, as well as a fellow in El Surti’s (Paraguay) fact checking program ‘Latinográficas’ in 2020.

She has experience working and collaborating with newsrooms in LATAM such as No Ficción, Nómada, Latam Chequea, Salud con Lupa and El Surti; and non-profit organizations like Oxfam, Visibles, Chicas Poderosas, amongst others. She also loves projects where she can collaborate with others from an experimental and artistic approach.
