Jiye Seong-Yu is RightsCon’s Communications & Engagement Lead, working on the team’s social media, newsletters and outreach. Previously, she worked as an interpreter and translator, event logistics coordinator, and project manager for a multi-award-winning project on bringing information into North Korea. She is also the founder of an anti-racism research group focusing on Asians living in Europe. Jiye holds a Master’s in Science and Technology Studies, and wrote her thesis on millennial feminist movements in South Korea. She is fluent in Korean and French, and proficient in Dutch, German, and Spanish.
