Agneris is a Latin America Policy Analyst and Global Freedom of Expression Coordinator at Access Now. She dedicates her decade-long professional experience to strengthening the organization’s regional advocacy, while advancing freedom of expression globally. Agneris specializes in the intersection of technology, human rights, and law, and has worked with several local civil society organizations and international law firms. She holds a law degree with honors from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and has graduated with an European Master in Law, Data, and Artificial Intelligence (EMILDAI) with honors, jointly awarded by Dublin City University, the University of León, and the University of Pisa. Agneris is a recognized member of the UNESCO Network of Experts on AI and the Rule of Law.
