Nick (email: [email protected]) directs the world's leading summit on human rights in the digital age. Nick's passionate about bringing people and communities together to tackle the great issues at the intersection of human rights, technology, and global affairs. Before Access Now, Nick researched citizen movements and digital diplomacy at the Munk School's Digital Public Square Project. He organized the 2014 Internet Governance Forum Meeting in Istanbul while working at the United Nations IGF Secretariat, and was an ICANN NextGen Fellow. He holds a political science degree from King’s University College and a master's of global affairs from the University of Toronto. Once upon a time, Nick was a kindergarten teacher, and in his spare time enjoys climbing active volcanoes and shipwreck diving.
