Faiz Naeem

Asia Pacific Program Associate

Faiz Naeem is a public policy professional working on digital rights, cybersecurity, and technology governance in the Asia-Pacific. At Access Now, he works on regional advocacy and stakeholder engagement, while also contributing to the organization’s global work on cybersecurity policy and cyber diplomacy. He co-authored a paper on cyber diplomacy’s dual-track architecture, presented at The Hague Program on International Cyber Security 2025, and is currently an EU Cyber Direct Fellow with the European Union Institute for Security Studies. Before Access Now, he helped organize the first Asia-Pacific Digital Rights Assembly and previously led impact evaluation at EngageMedia to strengthen strategy and regional collaboration. He also advised India’s Department of Food & Public Distribution on data use and digital systems for public welfare. Faiz holds a Master’s in Public Policy from IIT Bombay.
