Emna Mizouni (Archived Bio)

Emna is a Tunisian-Maghrebi digital communications specialist. She is the President-Founder of Carthagina organization, trying to promote Tunisia globally through digitizing heritage. Emna serves as the current Vice-Curator of the World Economic Forum’s initiative for youth, Global Shapers, in the Tunis Hub. She is an advocate for Open Culture and Open Knowledge, a community leader in the Wikimedia Movement, and an active member and contributor in the Tunisian, Arab, and African communities. She is an elected Vice-Chair to the Wikimedia Foundations’ Affiliations Committee.

Emna is a member of the women’s rights network of the international organization Karama and its representative in Tunisia. She previously worked in the corporate sector, then she moved to the non-profit sector where she occupied several positions in marketing and communications.
