Aurelie Placais
Board Member and Finance and Audit Committee Member
Aurelie Placais has sat on Access Now’s Finance and Audit Committee since 2023, helping oversee the organization’s financial health and sustainability. Since 2016, she has served as the Executive Director of the World Coalition Against the Death Penalty, having joined the organization in 2008, coordinating programs and international advocacy. She holds a Master’s Degree in Media and Cultural Studies. She is passionate about human rights, international advocacy, positive communication, new technologies, and being surrounded by amazing people who work together to build common strategies. Since 2024, she has also represented international organisations in the Members’ Advisory Council for the International Drug Policy Consortium.
