Anastasiya spearheads Access Now's Eastern Europe & Central Asia policy work, building coalitions, influencing key stakeholders, and bringing digital rights issues in restrictive environments into the international spotlight. Anastasiya previously worked as an advocate for the rights of people with disabilities, and currently serves as a board member for Inclusion Europe and explores solutions and technologies to promote inclusive education and independent living. Anastasiya holds a bachelor’s degree in international law from the European Humanities University and an LLM from the University of Amsterdam, where she dedicated both of her theses to new privacy challenges such as live facial recognition technology and the right to be forgotten.
