Andrew Cohen is a New York City-based internet entrepreneur and media executive. Today he is the CEO of Perch, an early-stage “Internet of Things” start-up. He was previously the director of Amazon’s global direct publishing business, and the general manager of bitly, the online link-sharing service. He is the treasurer of Access Now. Andrew began his career as a print journalist, reporting from around the world, including assignments in Somalia, Rwanda, and Bosnia. Andrew attended Yale University and the MBA program at Columbia Business School, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
